Olives slicing machine.
Mod. RJ-134

Mod. RJ-134.
Aplication

This machine has been designed to make olive slices from pitted olives.

Operation

A hopper, located under the orienting conveyor chain, receives the olives from the pitting machines. As the chain moves along, olives are positioned by transversal revolving roles, in such a way that fruits are placed perpendicularly to the circular-blade assembly, and are then sliced perpendicularly to their longitudianl axis. Thus, slices of a hight quality will also depend, naturally, on the quality of the olives being processed. Those slices that might get caught among the slicing discs are evacuated by means of an ejecting comb which makes slices fall into the reception container or, else, into a washing unit if it is considered convenient to separate small olive pieces from the slices themselves.

Output

The theoretical output is 8.000 olives per minute, which results in an estimated real output, for the whole range of manzanillas, carrasqueñas, hojiblancas and similar olives, between 2.000 kgs./hour for 180-200 size, and 1.000 kgs./hour for 400-420.

Smaller sizes can also be sliced with this machine. In this case, operation of the machine and quality of slices will depend on the condition of fruit.

Specifications

The machine is mainly made of stainless steel an other brine-proof materials. It consists of a frame, or bed-plate, that supports all the necessary elements for feeding, orienting, conveying, slicing and ejecting the fruit.

Positioning of rollers, along with the material they are made of prevent the slicing-blade assembly from suffering serious damage if, accidentally, any of the olives being fed to the machine is not pitted. In this case, the stone is duly ejected through the by-product outlet and not along with the slices.
